Sudoku TapestryThursday, November 20, 2014New to Conceptis?Play our free Sudoku puzzles online or try them out on your iPhone or iPad! Puzzles can be solved in all different ways. My favorite is curled up on the sofa with a nice cup of tea, using my best coloured soft-tip pens. Different colours help me see the logic in the toughest Suduko puzzles. This is how I discovered that there can be a beauty in Sudoku solutions, which I wanted to explore. The above is a photo of my 34x34 cm Sudoku tapestry. Each of the 9 numbers is represented by a unique colour: Red for 1, green for 2... through to 9 for yellow. Each square is made up of 9 different colors - a total of 81 colored woolen strands plus black for the lines. The puzzle was solved as it was sewn and took about 3 weeks to complete.
