Hi Everyone!
Word had been slowly spreading already, so some of you have already found it, but for those of you that haven't yet - Conceptis now has an official page on FaceBook.

It's a fabulous way to "spread the word" and let your all your FaceBook friends know about Conceptis - just by you joining the page & participating in (or even starting) discussions about why you love Conceptis, and sharing your passion for the world's best logic puzzles in a whole new venue.
(Please keep your technical questions here on the official Conceptis website, tho. They will get answered faster!)
You can even post images of you with your finished Conceptis puzzles - you can show off your greatest successes! Or post a pic of you settled in your favorite place to solve Conceptis puzzles. Another way to have fun with Conceptis & hook up with others who feel the same way!

Hi Everyone!
I know I've posted elsewhere in the forums about the pix & video Gil recently posted on the Conceptis FaceBook site, of the Conceptis gathering in Israel of people involved with COnceptis from around the world, but I thought I wouldn't hurt to mention it again here, too. http://www.new.facebook.com/pages/Conceptis-Puzzles/25787640812
And Leena (lekahe) is now back home in Finland from Israel, and once she gets settled at home, she has also promised to set up an album of photos on the FaceBook site!
And last but not least, Rosa (rcubero from Spain) also was on vacation touring Israel this past week. (Not at the same time as Leena and the Conceptis gathering, tho.) Gil & Dave were able to to meet with her between her scheduled tours and their busy schedules, and I hope someone had a camera handy for that occasion, too!

I have added pictures from this year's journey but I have no admin rights to put the album on the page. At the moment there is a link to my album, but I think Gil has to create the album to the Conceptis page.

Hi Leena - can you try adding a photo to an existing Album? Maybe a photo/image of a completed puzzle to the Puzzle Solutions Images album. If that works, then I can add an album for you and you can put your pix there. (I am also an Admin with Gil on the FaceBook page)
Otherwise, you may need to add your photos to the "Fan photos" section.
You're right, it looks like only admins can add albums, but it seems unclear if Admins are the only ones with permission to add photos to existing albums.
I've subscribed to this thread, so if you reply here, I'll get the email....

I added the photos to the fan photos. That was the only place I could use. I have no possibility to use Puzzle Solutions...

I guess only admins can add Photos into Albums on the Conceptis page. That is VERY annoying. I was hoping the Conceptis FaceBook page would be more "interactive". But I guess it is some sort of security feature.
I'm glad you added the photos to the under fan photos, tho! I hope this encourages more people to add photos under fan photos.
NOTE: If anyone wants to add a photo of any Conceptis puzzles they are particularly proud they have solved into the Puzzle Solutions Album, please email me privately and I will post them for you. (My email is now in my COnceptis profile.) Be sure they are Conceptis puzzles only, and provide me as much of the following info as you can with your photo: (You don't need to be a member of FaceBook for me to post your puzzle photo to the FaceBook page.)
Type of puzzle (PAP, FAP, etc)
The puzzle number and/or name (if you know it)
What magazine or book it was in, if not from the website
About how long it took you to solve
Your Conceptis Screen name (or your first name) & country
and anything else you'd like to add, like -
why you particularly liked this puzzle
how long you'd been solving when you tackled the puzzle
You can include yourself (or your kids, or your pet,, or whoever) holding your puzzle - in fact, that would be awesome!!

Another page Gil? Wasn't this URL address mentioned a few posts ago.
Maybe this page is in beta testing. The page works fine now.

CP has come out with 2 Calcu-doku books, which I purchased in San Diego, California:
1. CALCU-DOKU NUMBERFEST. 422 Calcu-doku puzzles.
2. CHALLENGING CALCU-DOKU PUZZLES. 600 Calcu-doku puzzles.
IMO, these books merit listings in CP's inventory
CP also put out CALCU-DOKU AND SUDOKU. Tis could B listed also.

Hi Jeff
The first 2 books were published by Sterling Publishing (or by one of their imprint subsidiaries) using our content. We usually wait till they send us a copy, before we add to our Products page.... just to make sure the format, page size, number of pages, ISBN etc are correct. We're still waiting for the gratis copies on these two.
As for Calcu-doku and Sudoku, this has been in the Products page since some time ago.

If CP has a Killer Sudoku book with Sum Sudoku, I think Sum Sudoku is also aka Sumoku, and I think SUMOKU is not TRUE SUDOKU.
A friend of mine pointed out the "Sudoku discrepancy"
That's in Kappa Puzzles mags (http://kappapuzzles.com)
Is Sum Sudoku a variant where EACH box, EACH row, EACH column, sums to 45, NO DUPES? If so, then it's Killer Sudoku

Hello,
Great that you're on Facebook now, too!
I'm slowly coming to grips with the 21st century and recently started using a smartphone. So now I would love to play my puzzles on my phone while I travel!
Is there an app so I can download a few puzzles (i'm happy to pay for them as usual!) and play them, say, on an airplane?
I apologize if this question has come up and been answered by now...
