Sym-a-Pix история
Sym-a-Pix is based on Tentai-Show (Japanese: 天体ショー), an original puzzle published by Nikoli Inc. in Japan. The first Tentai-Show book containing 95 puzzles from 36 puzzle creators was released by Nikoli in October 2006 followed by a second book in February 2009. In the west, Tentai-Show puzzles are known by other names such as Galaxies, Spiral Galaxies and Artist Block.
According to Nikoli, "Ten" is a Japanese word for dot, "tai-Show" means symmetry and "Tentai" stands for "astronomical things". So the name "Tentai-Show" has the double meaning of two fold rotational symmetry and astronomical show.
