Miyuki logic puzzle

Thursday, April 1, 2004 Miyuki logic Puzzle

I was in the Marine Corps for 8 years serving in Iwakuni and Okinawa, Japan, and in Hawaii. Today, I am a computer administrator, and have been solving the Pic-a-Pix and Link-a-Pix style puzzles since 1995. I know I will continue to solve these puzzles probably until I can't see anymore.

I was first introduced to the Pic-a-Pix style puzzles while stationed in Japan in 1995. I used to see those puzzle magazines in bookstores and wonder what they were, so one day I picked up a copy and tried figuring out how to solve the puzzles without any English instructions available.

Miyuki, my wife, who then I had just started dating, tried to help me out. However, she was not able to really figure out how to solve them on her own, so I was left with her broken.

My first picture forming logic puzzle was only a 20x20 Pic-a-Pix but still took me two weeks to solve. Yet, I quickly fell in love with them. A few years later I was surprised to see this type of puzzles showing up in a Games magazine in the U.S., and was overjoyed to find Conceptispuzzles.com.

It would be a great gift for me to present Miyuki with a puzzle of her own portrait. After all, she was the one who first explained the logic of these puzzles to me. Thank you so very much for this honor. I am very pleased with the puzzle, and cannot wait to present it to Miyuki. Wow! There are no words that I can write here describing the immense joy and happiness I am feeling right now. In fact, I have a big smile on my face right now as I am typing this. When I opened the picture of the solution to the puzzle, a chill ran down my back. Again, thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!!!
