Hitori Light Vol 1: Can you leave it alone?

Thursday, June 14, 2012 Hitori Light Vol 1

Hitori Light Vol 1, an addictive new casual game based on the popular number-elimination puzzle from Japan is now available free from Conceptis. The game offers an assortment of 30 very easy to medium difficulty puzzles in sizes of 5x5, 6x6 and 8x8.

The concept of Hitori puzzles was originated by Nikoli under the name "Hitori ni shite kure", literally "leave me alone" in Japanese. The puzzle rules are simple:

Each puzzle consists of a square grid with numbers appearing in all squares. The object is to shade squares so that the numbers don’t appear in a row or column more than once. In addition, shaded squares must not touch each other vertically or horizontally while all un-shaded squares must create a single continuous area.
