Have you visited the Conceptis Forum lately? I must confess, for the first year that I made my weekly, or more frequent, visits to the Conceptis website, I browsed the articles, downloads, puzzle reviews, contests. I hunted for those wonderful Easter Eggs, and played with the online applets. In all that time, I visited the Conceptis Forum only once: I came, I saw, and I didn’t return. For a year.
One day, I found the Forum again. My eyes drifted over the many topics. I didn’t know where to begin. A few days later, I made my first contribution. Now, it’s on my list of daily web stops. The day isn’t complete without seeing what’s going on in the Forum. And if you’re not yet a regular visitor, here’s just a smidgeon of what you’re missing:
Find new magazines and online sources; All over the world, companies are publishing these puzzles. If you can’t find them, look to the Fresh Supplies category to steer you in the right direction.
Have you thought of a great idea for a puzzle? Visit the new Puzzle Visions forum recently launched.
Do puzzles make you sing a song or write a poem?
Want to read and post your own review of a puzzle? The Puzzle Room is the perfect place for all things logic puzzle-related.
Need help making your next move in a specific puzzle? Stumped by those advanced FAPs? Check out the Puzzle Support category and get some pointers from fellow puzzlers.
Have you ever turned a puzzle into handicraft? Do puzzles make you sing a song or write a poem? Well, maybe it hasn’t happened to you yet, but if you read some of the topics in Puzzles and Life, you just might be inspired.
If you have trouble with any aspect of the Conceptis website, look to the Technical Support category. Chances are, you are not the only one experiencing the difficulty.
Meet people from all over the world
Are you a teacher or parent? Were you ever a kid? If you have answered yes to either of these questions, you will find delight and inspiration in the Puzzles and Kids category, where everybody puts their heads together to make the picture-forming logic puzzles more accessible to children, big and small.
And there’s even more you might be missing: You never know when Conceptis will release a new puzzle in the Forum so it can be tested. You can learn new techniques and methods that will change the way you puzzle and even meet people from all over the world who share the same passion for puzzling that you do.
You’ll fit right in. The contributors to the Forum span the ages and the time zones – and there’s a good mix of novices to advanced level puzzlers. In addition, Conceptis staff is often on-hand to answer questions and supply new ideas.
I hope you will come visit the Conceptis Forum. If you’ve never posted in a Forum before, this might just be the tip of the iceberg for you. Post a “hello” and see where it takes you. You might just become as addicted as I have!
Happy puzzling!
