I think the new Fill-a-Pix assistant is an interesting addition because sometimes I just can't find the next step. But I wish that there were an option to just show a hint. Something like highlighting a region, perhaps 6x6, where progress can be made, without actually showing the next step. What do you think?

This option used to be just a checker that checked the puzzle for errors. Now they've added the feature to ask for a hint. I think it would be better if these options are separated as to avoid confusion.
